Genetic Regulation of Fatty Acid Biosynthesis in <i>Brassica napus</i> Seeds Based on <i>FAE1</i> and <i>FAD2</i> Genes

Fatty acid elongase 1 (FAE1) and delta-12 fatty desaturase 2 (FAD2) are two key enzymes in plant biosynthesis pathway. Five different types of transgenic lines with identical genetic background were developed by single double-expression regulation the genes coding for these same  Brassica napus  variety CY2. Seeds five wild-type control, which planted under same environmental conditions, analyzed compared composition oil content present study. The results showed that contents multiple acids, such as oleic, linoleic, linolenic, eicosenoic erucic acid, could be significantly altered double genes. Particularly seeds endogenous target simultaneously silenced, oleic was increased to 82.8% from 20.5% CY2, grain-specific expression of  Arabidopsis thaliana   FAE1  gene, raised 60.2% 43.9% Compared relative ratios eighteen-carbon unsaturated acids desaturation proportion all markedly changed seeds. In addition, it found seed improved enhanced  and decreased silencing  and  FAD2 , suggesting synthesis accumulation would influenced a certain extent manipulation enzyme
